The Legend Of Tarzan - What A Beauty ! 😻

🎭 Genre :- Adventure

Runtime :- 1 hr 50 mins

📜 Plot - Legend of Tarzan begins eight years after Tarzan and Jane have left Africa to undertake a gentrified life in London, where Tarzan has claimed his birthright of John Clayton III, Lord Greystoke. He is drawn back to his former home in the jungle to investigate and expose a slavery ring in the Congo by Journalist George Washington Williams.

* They finally portrayed the Tarzan character more like Burroughs wrote him! *
😻🙌❤

What made this a real treat was how original it felt. Sure, we've seen a lot of Tarzan movies but this one is different. It's something the other filmmakers haven't tried before, and I give director David Yates and the screenwriters Adam Cozad and Craig Brewer a lot of credit for creativity. 💭

Yates is the first to do it. His 'Legend of Tarzan' stands head and shoulders above the Tarzan movies that came before it and regardless of how it fares in the crowded theatrical marketplace, it is assured of a place in cinema history as the evocative Tarzan movie that captured the heart and spirit of Edgar Burroughs' creation. 😻

I am really surprised at the mediocre reviews so far of this film. For me, its sheer entertainment and NOT BORING at all. 😒

🔎 Editing :- The editing by Mark Day is tight and slick. Not a moment is wasted and the story drives forward with energy and commitment. The story moves along briskly, and the plot is very effective.
It made me crave for more.

💡 Cinematography :- Henry Braham's cinematography is cool and brooding in London, and lush and earthy in Africa. The cinematic beauty of the film is astounding

🎶 Music :- The music by Rupert Gregson Williams is both emotional and pulse-quickening.

🔮 CGI - The panoramic views of the jungle are Beautiful. Dark, foreboding and deadly as it should be. 😍❤ Although the CGI seems cheesy in a scene or two and struggles to balance tone at times, trust me its magical in majority of the scenes. I sat through the movie mesmerized.

😎 Performances :-
💨 Alexander Skarsgard's hot bod does more of the talking than his character. 😉 But he manages to do a good Tarzan despite of the fewer lines endowed upon him. The love Tarzan feels for his ape mother is passed on to the movie viewer to be felt, not just seen.

💨 Margot Robbie portrays the feistiest Jane you've ever seen. She is everything Jane should be. 😉

💨 Samuel L. Jackson's humorous sidekick to Tarzan worked seamlessly. He added the much needed humour quotient in the film. Expect the same charmingly brash Samuel here. Skarsgard and Jackson together were marvelous to watch and their scenes together snapped and sparked.

💨 Christoph Waltz was exactly what I needed out of a Tarzan villain and he plays the antagonist so well, you would want to punch him right in the face whenever he is on screen. 😂😍

The whole cast is solid, and I really liked the historical setting concerning the Belgium King Leopold and his exploitation of the Congo.

💭 When it gets right down to it, don't listen to the critics on this one. Your enjoyment of The Legend of Tarzan all relies on how much you enjoy the idea of Tarzan in general. 💭

❤The Legend Of Tarzan is a fitting representation of real heroism driven by love, dedication, and absolute resolve❤

Is the movie perfect? Probably not, but it comes so damn close that I don't care. 💁

GO AND WATCH IT !

Ratings - 🐒🐒🐒 (3/5).
